Imperfect Cognitions blog post

I wrote a guest post over at the Imperfect Cognitions blog that provides a short, plain-language summary of my recent EJPE paper. That paper provides a specific method for us to fruitfully assimilate the traditional, formal way of approaching rationality through axioms with the more recent recognition that we exploit simple heuristics. If you’re interested, go check out the blog.

That blog is run by the ERC PERFECT project at the University of Birmingham, and it’s full of interesting posts. You might especially enjoy reading the interview with Ralph Hertwig, whose work got me interested in the rationality of heuristics and provides a different perspective.
